Fractional Laser Resurfacing is a non-invasive approach to scars treatment.
It resurfaces skin without surgery and can be done in 20 minutes, with little downtime.
What Is Fractional Laser Resurfacing?
Fractional Laser targets and delivers laser energy into the deeper layers of the skin as thousands of tiny and deep columns, also called microthermal treatment zones or MTZ.
MTZ helps to remove old pigmented cells and promotes collagen remodelling while keeping the healthy issues intact and unaffected. The damaged layer of the skin will then be “peeled away”, thereby allowing the healthy layers underneath to emerge.
The laser activates the deep microthermal treatment zones or MTZ which help remove old pigmented cells.
The penetration of the laser beam into the different layers result in collagen remodelling on all layers, forming new collagen for the skin.
Compared to the CO2 laser treatment for acne scars, the Erbium laser that we use allows your skin to heal faster, usually one week.
How Is It Done?
You Can Expect
- Lightened appearance of scarring
- Deep collagen remodelling
- Faster healing time
